The Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) course is a two-year foundational nursing programme designed to prepare healthcare workers who can provide basic nursing care, maternal and child health services, and community‐based healthcare. The curriculum emphasizes preventive, promotive, and basic curative health services with a strong focus on rural health.

ANM graduates play a vital role in primary healthcare, antenatal and postnatal care, newborn care, immunization programmes, and community outreach activities.

Programme Outcome (POs):

PO1 : Provide basic and safe nursing care in home, community, and primary healthcare settings.

PO2 : Assist in maternal and child healthcare services including antenatal, intranatal, and postnatal care.

PO3: Demonstrate effective communication skills with individuals, families, and communities.

PO4: Participate in national health programmes, health awareness campaigns, and immunization drives.

PO5: Maintain ethical conduct and confidentiality in healthcare delivery.

PO6: Apply basic first aid, emergency care, and infection prevention practices.

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three‐year diploma programme designed to prepare skilled nurses capable of delivering quality care in hospitals, communities, and various healthcare settings. The programme focuses on nursing foundations, medical-surgical nursing, mental health, maternal and child health, and community health nursing.

The curriculum includes classroom learning, clinical practice, simulation training, and supervised patient care.

The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a 2 years (4 semesters) Diploma degree programme, affiliated to the P.N.P. Prayagraj. It is designed to provide students with a wide range of teaching skills, while building competence in a particular area of Education. This course is a career-oriented degree which provides a foundation in all aspects of Elementary Education. Candidate should have Graduation in any stream with 50% marks

The 2-year programme shall lead to a degree “Elementary Education” as the student will complete a rigorous research project in major area of study. After completing D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education), you can get jobs mainly in the teaching field, especially for young children. Here are the main career options:

PO1 : This program provides, Primary school teacher (Class 1–5), Government + Private school jobs, Nursery / Pre-primary teacher, Special educator ( With additional course), well trained professionals to meet the requirements.

PO2 : After completing the D.El.Ed programme, students can acquire skills regarding various aspects like Government teacher and Private Teacher administration capabilitie.

PO3: Students can also independently attend their own coaching classes during this program.
